Or are we brown and pink?
Chocolate and peach?
Why did that person call my boyfriend
A "person of color"?
What does that make me?
Colorless?

When Göran and I
Hold each other
Naked in the candlelight
We look almost the same color:
A golden honey hue.
He's just a shade richer
I'm just a shade sweeter.

The only time we are black and white
Is when I once put a color photograph of us on a copy machine
I enlarged the copy, and made a copy of the copy,
Until he was black with white specs for eyes
And I was white with black around the edges.

Is he black and I white?
He down and I up?
He no and I yes?
Or are we both all of these?
