ACCUSATIVE
Used to indicate the direct object.
Shows to or into what place motion is directed, or how far. No prepositions are needed to show movement into cities, towns, or small cities. Eg. Romam to Rome.
Used to show how long something goes on. Eg. septem annos for seven years; una hora for one hour.
Is taken by the subject and the object of infinitives in indirect speech. Eg. Puerum vivere dixit. He said that the boy is alive. Dico eum libros scribere. I say that he writes the books.
