Smith Province in the Republic of Haldeve is about the same size as Minnesota. The distance from Southport to Silltown is about 1,700 miles, or roughly the same distance that separates Boston and San Antonio. The Shushanish Empire has approximately the same area as modern-day Brazil.

The Eastern Continent has roughly the same area as Eurasia. Waltia, Masovia, and Sanctonia have a combined area roughly equal to the area of Europe and the Middle East, with Waltia roughly the same size as Western Europe (France, Spain, Italy, and the British Isles). Diluvia has an area roughly the same as the combined land mass of China and the Indian subcontinent.
