Southport
10-17. Our heroes began the campaign as members of the travelling circus of Friedrich Täuschungspiegel and his mother Agda. Täuschungspiegel was more than just an entertainer; he took in the magical outcasts of the Republic and provided them a cover while he himself was working for part of the underground magical resistance. It was within the circus campgrounds in an isolated district on the road between Moortown and Southport that our heroes found evidence of a realm of darkness ruled by a being known as "the Eater" sending "horrors" from beyond to attack this world.
11-9. In the City of Southport, the party found deep beneath the city, beyond the sewers, in ancient, subterranean caverns, a citadel of Goblins, living in the way Goblins had always lived in this land, since time immemorial. After learning of a "changeling plot" and after some nasty scrapes with the Needletooth gang, they were aided by a friend of Täuschungspiegel named Vargas, who introduced them to the Priest of La'agash and his assistant Rachaktal.
11-25. After their adventures in the sewers of Southport, with evidence of a disturbing alliance between the Goblin "underground" and the horrors from beyond this world, our heroes parted ways with Täuschungspiegel (with his blessing), and went to assist the Priest of La'agash on a mission to Moortown, where an entire village had vanished and there was evidence of "horror" activity.
Sareven's Keep
In search of clues about the pre-Human history of Haldeve, our heroes trekked across the lonely moors near Long Lake, to an ancient, isolated castle, overgrown with strange fungi, guarded by Skeleton warriors, and haunted by the undead sorceror Sareven.
Silltown
Silltown, on the far eastern edge of Human settlements in the north, at the head of the Norton river and under the eaves of the Karmarthian (Draconic) Mountains, was once a stronghold of the ancient Goblin Kingdom. There our heroes discovered a secret, underground gate, guarded by Goblins. What might lie beyond the gate is a story yet to be told...
